He’s the type of person you don’t forget because he literally is just out of this world: everything from his mannerisms to his intonations. Naturally he’s the type of person to craft a whole new world using fine liner and his imagination. Design Butler’s second exhibition is taking place right now in Brick Lane and before I find myself down there, these pictures had to resurface from Correspondence last summer.

CENTRE POMPIDOU
When you set out to do something, the sensible part of you knows not what to expect, but it is the irrational being inside of you, that thrives off of this uncertainty. It keeps you walking for consecutive hours; even after that engagement with the drunken beggar and the smoker who thought it a good deed to share his fumes with bystanders. Centre Pompidou was unlike any other gallery experience. Essentially, it is a gallery, with a library at it's core... Judging by the quality of the gallery, the collection of texts could only follow suit - sheer epicness.
Where does my rant begin ? Jean-Michel Basquiat ? Jeff Koons ? Malachi Farrell ? Walter LeBlanc ?
If we were to erect a monument in order to define the word aware, Centre Pompidou would be it. Never have I visited a place that was so gingerly aware of it's role and power, not only to stimulate minds in a creative capacity, but also to inspire a sociopolitical awareness regarding even the most mundane aspects of our humanity.

PARIS HOLIDAY I
This trip was the ultimate definition of three days well spent and the best way to kick off 2015. Sometimes it is just totally necessary to hop on a train to another country. First stop, Arc de Triomphe and the progression of retailers on Champs Elysées (Oxford Street lol). PS: +Sephora, why are you still not in England?

EZE ART
“somewhere between psychotic and iconic”
Beyond the beauty of the nature is the humans who have crafted their life around the natural formation of their landscape: such as 400 steps being a part of a casual commute.
In the Eze village, was a series of galleries, the most captivating of which featured art by Lysand. A series of pieces hung around a wooden beautifully lit cave-like space. My fave piece, was a contrast to the pretty vibrance of Monaco and was a little boy with dreads that made me think of Wang sandals.

EXECUTION SQUARES
The first week of March was spent interning at NME HQ. It was a great experience and the team there are quite simply human gold. Luckily 3 minutes walk from the magazine office was the Tate which I spent shitloads of time in. The above set of photographs were probably the most striking, consuming an entire wall and getting me super excited for my global voyage.

FEBRUARY
In amongst being consumed by University interviews, portfolio preparation and the production of Short Films and whatever else to complete school, blogging has been the last thing on my list of shit to do. I will continue to share on every platform, namely my Tumblr has become more personal and Wanstead Station is inspiring life. In the meantime I will be indulging in my chocolate birthday cake.

BLACK PARIS
The Comptoir des Cotonniers store in Paris, Saint Germain-en-Laye.
My second time in Paris, but my first time as an explorer and
I was overjoyed that I was able to make the trip with Abella (my DSLR), so much
so that I wish I had an entire film crew with me, and a pre-written script and
a plan and I could go out and make a movie in Paris.
Tall far-off-white buildings, street art in the finest nooks and
crannies and the constant French murmuring - long live Paris.
