BEDROOM

So this is me in my favourite items of clothing right now about to head to Rosa's for Thai food - everyday's a celebration. I've been forgetting to share lots of stuff, being so absorbed in everything else but it's all good. Remember the post on my diy tote? I recreated and improved it (pictured above), a little testament to my productive and creatively rewarding summer... Now I'm ready for autumn. Mentally, it's cold, jackets and long-sleeves are necessary but summer doesn't want to give way yet. Thank God for versatile and multifunctional pieces.

ORGANIC JAGO VANS

I spend a lot of time on menswear fashion sites simply because guys have dope shit. It's like there's more of an emphasis on using hyper-futuristic fabrics or epic prints or impeccable tailoring - or maybe I just find the fabrics, prints and tailoring for men more appealing.

If you ever have a minute in Shoreditch, find the A Child of a Jago store (re: jeans). It's just an exciting little experience, roll through. I'm wearing these in a 30/32 (too big but idgaf). Although they do have a womenswear section too, there was still that bias - sometimes I need that menswear nonchalance!

With a waterproof coating, cotton twill fabric, thick durable laces, don't be surprised to find me wearing these daily... Still wishing Oki-Ni carried all their shoes in a size 6, without doubt, it would be the 365/24/7 hotspot for shoes.

WORN TO A FESTIVAL

In my mind festival wear is so often bohemian and flowy shit etc but that doesn't feel right. This outfit is a combination of comfort, necessity and nudity: my slut-free summer mission has been aborted.

I'm wearing DIY shorts made from scuba-esque fabric which is literally to die for, it will appear in many more posts. This is a Nike dri-fit sports bra, I actually picked it up from an outlet but it's amazing. The baseball shirt was from my brothers wardrobe, you can get one on eBay or official shirts like mine here. All worn with some old Nikes.

LA VAGUE

Sometimes I enjoy finding myself entrapped in the beauty of someone else’s something. The past few months it’s been Matisse’s work. Namely ‘La Vague’. Aside from the fact that you can’t help but be mad at him, I mean he made a career by sticking paper… You can’t help but find yourself lost in the meaning behind his work. I just love the serigraph, #ugh.

The main lesson to learn from the most inspiring people of the world is that it’s not enough to have an idea, to feel something, to like something, to want something, execution is key.

You may see me dragging my faux leather tote around like it’s a dog on a leash, but when I say I love this bag, I love it.

Obviously inspired by one of the greatest brands in the world (I’m biased), this tote was the product of a couple hours behind my machine. I always thought, I could make a tote bag but that’s a weightless statement until it’s actually made. The straps need fray block or maybe need to be made thinner and hemmed and I would probably add a few pockets to add to the functionality of this super epic bag (I’m biased).

Following up from my tweet to @andotherstories, here’s what’s in the bag!
This was one piece from the haul of stuff I got from &OtherStories. This particular knit was in the sale but in case you missed my Céline-lustlist-rant, I am in love with these lines and it’s navy blue - #tickingboxes.

My pants were my creation. It’s always a proud mom moment when people ask you where your pants are from at work… I will totally be taking orders for them - it’s only fair seeing as this fabric is epic, the design is epic and you won’t find this style anywhere: trust me, I searched.

Now you too, go forth and create.

HO

This is probably the most homemade of outfits I've ever worn: minus the Céline style bag from a market in Ventimiglia and the jacket from a market just off of Brick Lane (only on a Sunday). #jeanstootightlol #contredeuxsaisons

AIR MAX 27 SWEATSHIRT

Today 27 years ago, Tinker Hatfield designed the first Nike Air Max sneakers that have now been immortalised thanks to the blessed retro concept. I love this pair in particular for the amazing textures and word on road is the Nike Boxpark store are offering an array of limited edition of Air Max 1s today: catch them before they are gone.

Once again my reversible jacket love is played out here in my brothers Nike jacket, worn with this Asos Neoprene Sweatshirt (that I got in the sale for like £10 #winning) and black jeans

Long live Air Max.

(my lipstick is MAC Diva with YSL Eyeliner applied before the lippy and I blended by rubbing my lips together - lol)
Neoprene sweatshirt Asos similar, reversible jacket Nike similar
